    Health Card Redesign and Functional Will be Soon: CM

    The newly elected Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz has announced the health card redesign. She said in his address that we will provide all health care facilities to the people of Punjab. It should remembered that the first governments issued health cards along with various facilities for health care to deserving people. From this people could get their treatment free of charge in selected hospitals up to a fixed amount through this card. 

    Daughter of Nawaz Sharif Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sahiba has now announced to expand the services of this card and make it functional. So that more people can benefit from it. There is no fixed number of persons to benefit from each card. Many people belonging to the same family are eligible to benefit from this health card.

    The data of the health card beneficiaries is obtained from NADRA and they do not have to pay any cost of treatment from their pocket. The fixed amount of this health card is fixed at one million per family. The health care budget has allocated 18 billion rupees annually. By using a health card, you will be able to get your treatment for free, the government of Pakistan has announced that every person’s ID card is their health card.

    Services Of Health Card

    After the Health Card Redesign, its services have been enhanced. When a patient is admitted to the hospital at least three times a year through this health card, he/she is provided a transport allowance on each discharge which is deducted from the health card.

    Any patient in serious condition can benefit from this health card. If a patient dies during the treatment, the heirs are provided with an amount of 1000 rupees to perform the last rites of the deceased.

    To get treatment with this health card, you must have some documents (your national identity card, patient’s national identity card, and health card) while going to the hospital.

    Air Ambulances

    Ms. Maryam Nawaz has announced to provide air ambulances to people living in hilly areas. He narrated an autobiography of his, in which he said that while traveling in the hilly area of Changla, his daughter’s health suddenly deteriorated. His car stopped due to heavy traffic. Even though they had a good cart and all the facilities, it was very difficult to reach the hospital. 

    All this incident made him realize that people living in hilly areas face a lot of difficulties in reaching the hospital in critical condition. Considering their difficulties, he announced the provision of Air Ambulance in the hilly areas in his first address after coming to power. By which they will get timely medical help in case of an accident and many lives will saved.

    The poor sections who cannot go for treatment, are now provided the facility of air ambulance.

    Those who are at risk of losing their limbs in an accident will be able to regain a healthy life by getting medical help on time. He said that these air ambulances will be available all the time and an organized motorway will start for motorway ambulance service. A separate one-to-two ambulance system will be provided in case of an accident on the motorway.

    Newly elected Chief Minister Ms. Maryam Nawaz said in her speech that a major hospital will established in every district of Punjab. In which highly trained doctors, pharmacists, head nurses, and support staff will appointed. Doctors will provided with all the equipment that is used in a better treatment. Free medicines, food, and better treatment services will be provided to the patients under treatment in the hospital.

    Such deadly diseases are not possible to treat in Pakistan, and not everyone can afford to go abroad, now all diseases will treated in DHQ and THQ hospitals while staying in Pakistan.
